Second Floor of Tootsies gettin shoulder rubs? In the Advice of Drake i ventured my way to Tootsies. Being my first stop in Miami i was fully commited to blowing my total budget here and sitting in my hotel saturday and sunday thinking over friday. Being from NY i am aware of the dress code most SC have so i dressed conseratively. ie no Hats, tank tops etc. To my surprise no dress code. 25 dollar uber from Collins ave. From pulling my impression was " Jesus, this place is huge" looks like a concert hall. Approaching the front theres two doors. One leading upstairs and another to the main floor. I asked questions bouncer said usually theres a rAte to go upstairs but its booked up for a party. We proceeded to main floor, the front door bouncer said its either 10 to get in or pay for a bottle and get seated in VIP and cover is waived. Once again caught up in the hype went all out me and my buddy spilt the cost of the bottle and proceeded to vip. Price of the bottle was 260 with tax & tip. The chairs in VIP were comfortable. Empty in VIP as well. Waitress wasnt attentive, wasnt fluent in english either. Russian i think. Came in around 10. My problem with tootsies is and why i will probably not go back is that with you paying for VIP you expect to be higher priority to the girls . Sitting in VIP for a total of 90 mins only only 3 dancers came over to me and buddy. I know what youre thinking, we arent 60 years old and 400 pounds. We're both under 25 and in relatively in good shape. Mind you we literally have stacks on singles sitting on the table. Waiting, and waiting. Watching Espn highlights. Thats my only gripe with VIP, but IFi were to go back to Tootsies i would do VIP again, for the simple fact the main floor tables and chairs dont look all too comfortable. The crowd varies, seems likd the theme is to hold a beer and talk with waitresses. So being tired of waiting, i took a lap around the club. Told a few of the ladies on stage when theyre done with their sets to come to VIP. 20 mins laters its a lil better. Did chat with a AA dancer for 30 mins. She told me to go to The office. We exchanged numbers but i was sleeping by the time she called me at 7am. Overall i left dissappointed. IMO a little better than KOD but still a let down.
