worst time here ever

Crazy Horse used to be my favorite SF strip club. After not going there for about a year, I went this last Saturday afternoon, along with a friend. Wow, how things had taken a turn for the worse. The reason I liked going there was because for a $2 tip at the rail, you would usually get some nice interaction with a friendly dancer - and I loved going during the day shift, when it was less hard to get a dancer's attention. Well, this time, there were about six girls dancing, and not a single one of them was hot. Two "weren't bad," and the other four, sadly, would likely be more successful in other career paths at this point in their lives - I'm not trying to be mean, but not everyone makes for a great dancer - just like not everyone makes for a great (insert any profession here).

Anyways, the tip rail was a huge let-down, as I didn't want to even be too close to most of the dancers. The two that were okay looking weren't up to CH's previous standards of being fun, friendly, and relaxed - plus, it seems like the $2 standard tip is now expected to be much more than that. I know about inflation, but holy crap, my income has stayed the same for the last few years and I just can't afford to tip $5+/song at the tip rail. I'll also say that the clientele on this last Saturday afternoon were downright depressing as well - and this is compared to CH's usual daytime customer base. A couple of them were very creepy and rude indeed. I've loved going to CH for years, but this last weekend may be it for me. Yikes. Or, maybe I just hit it on a bad day?
