Getting too carried away on dance time

Normally, this is one of my favorite places. Easy parking, nice and attractive girls, pool tables, free to get in before 7pm and so on. However, my last time I was there, I had a bad experience so be aware if you go...

So, I head back for a couple dances. I was careful to say it was only two dances... we've all heard stories about girls trying to scam you for a bit more. So, we get up there and a guy is at the private area and writes something down. We go back, do two (very good dances) and I come out. The guy at the desk tells me it is 3 dances. I tell him it was only two and he points to his clipboard.

I'm starting to get a bit irritated when the girl I"m with tells the guy it was only two dances. She tells me to go back to the bar and that she will take care of it. I start to walk away and I hear the guy say "You are going to let her do that?" It seems she is paying my extra $20. OK, now I'm both mad at the club for trying to cheat me, and feeling bad for this dancer who was trying to do the right thing. I at least tip her later.
