A bit disappointed at Lido 21
I was in Naples, Italy for a conference, and I thought I would check out the local bar scene, so I chose Lido 21, which is at the "lungo mare" - the waterfront with lots of nice hotels and restaurants lined up along a pedestrian only street. The area is nice, lots of local and international tourists, and a very active street life into the early morning hours. I chose Lido 21, because it was a 5 minute walk from my hotel (parking is difficult and expensive), and their website looked nice.
I was greeted by an elderly woman, who led me down the stairs. It cost 20 Euro to get in, including the first drink, which seemed a bit stiff. I was there for a little over an hour, and I only saw two dancers on the stage, so clearly they make their money on the "Prive" - private dances. After I had stood there for a few minutes I was met by a very clingy Russian girl, who was extremely eager to get my attention. She promised me the world - touching, sex, everything. I told her I had only brought 120 Euros to the club, and I had given 20 to get in, so I offered her 100 Euros, take it or leave it.
She reluctantly agreed, although she said that the usual price was 130 Euros for 30 minutes, and we went to a private room and got a bottle of champagne, which was included in the 100 Euros. It started out OK. She danced a bit, took off her top exposing very small breasts, and she encouraged touching, so that was ok. She was on top of me grinding a little, but after about 10 minutes she wanted more money. I explained to her what she had promised, but she didn't care. She told me it was over, unless I handed over more money. After a few minutes the mood was spoiled, and I ended up leaving after watching the show for a little bit. Too bad I had settled on the Russian girl, because I saw much nicer looking girls, who must have been busy when I walked in.
