Guess they didn't want to sell me any dances

Tuesday evening ~8, didn't expect too much, but decided to drop by after finishing some other business nearby. 4 dances, 5-6 customers. I went to the bar & got a drink. The dancer sitting next to me introduced herself, complained about how tired she was (said she'd been there since 10:30 so can't really blame her, I suppose), and that was it. Finished my drink, got another one, then went to a table. A song or two later they had all the girls come up for the pre-uptime song. Then the girls are supposed to come down and try to sell an uptime (2 dances for $40). One girl had made arrangements previously so grabbed the guy and headed into a room. One girl went over to the manager for a minute, then went into the locker room. One had to stay on stage, and the last one came out, checked with the remaining customers except me, then went out to the smoking patio (walking right past me and not making eye contact). Finished my drink and left. Guess they didn't want to sell me any dances - I must've looked too scary (total joke, I might be able to scare a squirrel on a good day). Oh well, saved my money for another day.
