Love/Hate Relationship

I have a love/hate relationship with Mardi Gras. Sometimes I really enjoy myself, and other times I'm bored or just don't have a great time. I should start off by saying I don't go here for the VIP (ripoff IMO) or the private dances (hands off and mechanical). The only reason I go is to enjoy a couple of beers while getting some close-up views of some better-than-average looking nude girls. The club is not bad inside and the bar stage is surrounded by a moat for the barmaids to walk through to deliver drinks (there is a bar in the middle of the stage). It's kind of a strange setup. I prefer the seats at the end of the bar, where there isn't a moat. If you can't get one of these seats, you can still have a good time as some of the girls will cross the moat to the counter in front of you. Whether I have a good time here or not is directly related to the girls on staff that night. I've seen girls that are a 9 or 10 on the looks and body scale in the past, but lately I'd have to rate most of them as a 6-8. Some of the girls are very chatty and friendly, while others are just mechanical and want to push the private dances (you can do better elsewhere). My biggest beef, and this was the case on my most recent visit, is the tendency for some girls to just stay at one end of the stage. There were only a couple of girls I was really interested in, but neither of them came anywhere near my end of the stage during their entire set. I didn't feel like staying until their next round to take my chances again and left after they left the stage. I'll definitely go back, hoping my next visit is more on the Love side than this one was.
