1st good crowd in a while

Went back to the Wheel on a Saturday night for the first time in a while. Got there around 1045 and the place was full compared to how it's been the last few years. Probably 35-40 guys in the place and about a dozen dancers. It actually took me a while to find a decent place to sit. I was surprised and thinking since my last few trips have seemed that dancers were reluctant to approach on their own when there were few customers in the place, that tonight would be in even more so, since the guys outnumbered the girls. I couldn't have been more wrong.

I was approached early and frequently by a number of girls I'd never met before, 6 total. I finally asked one of the girls about it. Her theory was that on light nights, the girls focus on regulars or one guy because their best chance to make enough to cover their fees and tip out is to hit a home run with multiple dances for one guy or maybe VIP. This issue is emphasized by the fact that because all the girls are scrambling, they are protective over the regulars that are there and not willing to share. On a crowded night, the girls can make enough money hitting singles, by doing dances all night even if it's with different guys. Likewise, the girls aren't as protective over their regulars or guys they might invest time in because there are more guys ready to potentially get dances. Seemed reasonable. I don't know if it's true, but I certainly was approached a lot. At one time, I was sitting with a girl when she got called on stage. Another girl swooped in and asked if I wanted company. I said maybe, but that I was just with a girl who got called on stage. She said "let's go do two dances and I'll have you back before she's done." Sounded like good reasoning to me, and it played out just like that.

There were two bachelor parties there. Only about 4 guys in each. One group was a rowdy bunch of dickheads and was yelling stuff at the dancers. The bachelor got a bachelor dance on stage where two of the girls mauled him. He was wearing white shorts and ended up with a brown stain on his ass crack. I don't think he crapped himself. Probably a beer or something, but it was kinda fun watching him look like an idiot.
