Woody's isn't the classiest, most upscale place, but it was probably the most fun I've had a strip club. The size/atmosphere of the club is like a local dive-bar, but this small setting grants woody's its personal and intimate charm. I would say there were 1-2 mediocre looking dancers, the seemingly mandatory 1 or 2 past-prime dancers you'd probably prefer not see perform and then 2 dancers I found really attractive. The 2 most attractive girls were both hispanic, one was an all around larger, thick (but not at all fat) voluptuous woman probably early to mid 20s and another smaller, more petite Cuban girl around the same age with nice breasts and great ass. Cover charge can be avoided by arriving prior to 8 or 9 and after that I believe the cover was $10. There were no champagne or completely separate rooms, the lap dances were given along the perimeter of the room in couches under dimmer lighting, they were either $20 or $30, lasted for the duration of a song and during the 3 or 4 dances I got, I didn't notice any overbearing security. There was a full bar and they offered a typical bar menu. The best part of Woody's in my opinion was how the dancing area was set up. The dancers performed on ground level within a roughly 8'x8' square with knee high walls/counter top, a pole in the center and 5-6 seats around the outside of each side. This layout offered the most intimate and up-close experience I've ever seen. The dancers would work the pole, dance around and then lean over or lay across the low counter top allowing patrons to tip them. The extremely small area, essentially a play pen with counter tops, meant that if you were sitting around the box the furthest a dancer could be away from you would be a few feet. The girls had no problem retrieving tips from mouths, atop faces or heads, a light smack and although I didn't see anyone get too crazy or overly touchy, I would say the security was overall fairly lax. All of the staff (doormen, security, bartenders) seemed cool enough, no one I encountered came off as rude or had any sort of attitude. The dancers were also pleasant, none of them were demanding or overly pushy for tips or private dances. So, the physical appearance of the club probably won't be the nicest you've seen, but it was clean enough, the quality of girls overall isn't the best, but there were the few that made it well worth it and given the location, seemingly in the middle of nowhere, I was pleasantly surprised when seeing them first hand. Despite these sub-pars, the overall experience in the strip club was well above par and far far beyond what one would expect. I think it's also worth mentioning that Islamorada is a tourist destination consisting of a lot of rental houses, mini resort compounds and hotels. This means that the population and also club patrons will depend heavily on what events are going on in the area and the type of people attending. I was there for a friends wedding and there were at least two other wedding parties going on nearby, all of which seemed like pretty decent people. I would definitely recommend Woody's.
