Bogarts Lounge - you know what you're getting yourself into

I've been to Bogarts a few times now in the past few months so I feel like I have a pretty good feel for the place. Long story short, you know what you're getting and it ain't bad if you're are patient.

The club itself has been covered a bunch, so I'll just say that the descriptions are accurate. It's dark, a little divey, lots of smokers and not the most comfortable seating in the world. It could use a facelift, but since prices are cheep I doubt that'll ever happen. The dance booths are small, with a single chair or maybe two in them, think extra large phone booth size. It's definitely not a place to lounge and enjoy a nice VIP type dance, but that's not what you are coming here for anyways.

The setup is pretty typical, you pay cover and grab a table where and a bar girl will eventually come find you to get a drink. You can also order at the bar. I find if you give a half decent tip off the bat - $5 - service is pretty speedy for the rest of the night. Grab a high top by the bar or a bench on the side of the main stage. You'll get more drive by "want a dance" at the high top and more attention on the bench. It seems like at least half the girls are there for regulars and unless you plan on throwing a bunch of tips their way while they have their set you'll not get their attention. The other half are available so focus your attention there.
