Good visit to an old friend.

I have not been in the Thorobred Lounge in years and I have heard a lot of bad things about it. However on the basis of this one visit I would recommend it. I am not sure when but it's been remodeled since the last time I was in there. While it couldn't be mistaken for an upscale club it was not bad for Seventh Street. I would say the same for the dancers. Most were a little rough around the edges but there no dogs that night

I arrived around 8:30 on a Friday night. There is never a cover charge so I walked in and grabbed a seat at the bar. I had not even ordered a drink when I was approached by a very attractive and petite dancer named Kris (spelling?). She wasted very little time with small talk and started selling me on VIP. She quickly convinced me to pay the bartender $120 ($100 for a 30 minute VIP and $20 for a tip which she said was necessary to ensure privacy). The VIP room was just off of the main floor and behind some swinging doors. It was dark in the room and seemed private enough. Once she collected her tip in advance she wasted no time in getting down to business. While I enjoyed my time with Kris it was all a little to rushed for my taste. However she was quite attractive and talented and if you just want to stop in for a quick bit of fun she might be your girl. After our VIP I watched two dancers on stage, finished my beer, and left.
