An adult DVD store/ adult cinema/ lap dance venue? Wow...

The feelings generated by this place are much the same as those generated when entering an internet café. The first thing that springs to mind is an amazement that it still exists, followed by a brief feeling of nostalgia remembering attempts as a not really old enough teenager trying to buy dirty videos, followed by genuine puzzlement (whilst sat uncomfortably in the cinema waiting for the lap-dance) that these places were ever popular in the first place.

A description is called for. You enter what appears to be a normal adult shop, of the kind that was rather common over a decade ago when they catered primarily for men and didn't bother pretending to be about enhancing couple's sex lives. You walk past umpteen thousand DVDs (who buys these anymore? Really?) to the counter and sheepishly enquire whether lap-dances happen here.
