Traveling though WV and thought Angel's warranted an investigation. Last time I was here it was Red's, but ownership changed a couple years ago and it's just Angels. You can still see where they painted over "Red's". After parking in their front lot you enter through the front door. Had to ring the doorbell to get in. I thought maybe that meant this place was going to be seedy, I was mistaken. You enter into a bar area with the restrooms on the right and the dancing area to the far left. I ordered a beverage and seated myself along perverts row.

Four dancers were in attendance while I visited. An older lass who took pretty good care of herself, a larger twenty something brunette who was a little big for my tastes, a buxom thin blonde who looked like she would have fit better in Playboy than a sawdust joint in Mountaineer Country, lastly a cute medium built redhead. I sat at the stage and watched the show. The blonde was by far the best dancer of the group, but just a couple words from her and you could tell she could clean your wallet out quicker than a vacuum cleaner. The larger brunette was quite drunk and was hanging all over a couple guys at the bar. The older lass had her regular. And the blonde had an older fella's wallet firmly in her grasp. So my attention went to the redhead. She seemed awfully shy for someone who disrobes for a living. It had me oddly intrigued, so I motioned her over and we chatted a little. When she was up on stage to dance a little she didn't disrobe at all, it was pretty strange. She came back from her set and she was sitting at the bar, so I accompanied her. After some more chatting, I took her upstairs for three songs. $60 for the bar plus her tip. The lap dances are done upstairs in semi-private rooms. I was told that the bouncers check on you at night, but dayshift doesn't.

The lap dance itself was pretty tame compared to other places I have been to near here. I would recommend Angels for a middle of the road WV joint without the sticky feeling on your exit. Maybe I picked the wrong dancer for extra activity, but I enjoyed my time there.
