Just back from a biz trip...

Just back from a biz trip to Philly, and since I was in the general vicinity, decided to take a side trip to Burlington to see for myself if everything I've read about the PL was true. It is -- for the most part. The PL looks like a dive from the outside. The inside consists of one LARGE bar that encircles the entire main room, with the stage at floor level inside the circle of the bar, so no up-close-and-personal tippage at the rail. After the girls come off stage, they rotate around the bar asking for dollar tips for a wiggle and a giggle. Pretty hands-on. Tips are tucked inside the tops AND bottoms. The private dances are where it's at. You know it's going to be a good night when you go inside the VIP booth (which are about 8x8 rooms) and she closes the door behind you. Once inside, the three that I sampled were very much mutally hands-on. They don't do $20 per song, it's more like $20 for 4 or 5 minutes, and they announce the count in the room. Some allow kitty action, some don't. My rating is an 8, but that's really a 10 for the VIP and a 6 for ambience.
