BBF is back in my rotation

For years Brad's Brass Flamingo was my favorite among Indy's 15 or so strip clubs. It had decent and reasonably priced food, beer specials every day such as mini-pitchers for $6 or so, and no cover if you showed the coupon from the local alternative newspaper (Nuvo). Most important, Brad's offered $10 dances at all times from surprisingly attractive strippers. Even on days, the only time I ever go to Brad's, the girls were mostly good-looking.

Leave it to strip club management to screw up a great thing. Leading up to Indy's hosting the Super Bowl in 2012, Brad's jacked up the price of lap dances, first from $10 to $12 and then to $20 at all times. This led, in my opinion, to a mass exodus of customers from which the club has never fully recovered. Speaking for myself, once dances went to $20 I started exploring other clubs in Indy and discovered Dancers and Club Rio, which have gotten much more of my business the past four years. My number of annual visits declined from about twenty to about two.

However, on a Tuesday afternoon in early July, having heard that $12 dances were back between noon and 2, I decided to give Brad's another try, my first visit in well over a year -- and I'm glad I did! I arrived around 12:30 and stayed till 2, enjoying a fine lunch and a $7.50 mini-pitcher of domestic beer. Though only five girls were working during this time, I knew four of them from before and got excellent lap dances from two old favorites. I returned on a Sunday in early August and once again enjoyed lunch, beer, and *lots* of $12 lappers. Every girl allows touching everywhere except the kitty (with some allowing it there!) and most are eager to please, grinding until the goal is attained. This is basically a non-extras club, at least in my experience, but I have received a number of unsolicited handjobs over the years for just the cost of dances.
