Maybe the best in Melbourne but....

In Melbourne on business and had some extra time. From what I could tell on TUSCL this was the best place to hit up. I arrived around 10pm just after opening and it was already very crowded with no place to sit. Paid $10-15 cover charge and got a beer for something like $8 so with tip around $10. This is a high energy place with lost of younger firm dancers. Majority were white with some Eastern Europeans mixed in with local talent and a few Asian and darker chicks mixed about. Almost a Vegas type atmosphere but on a much smaller scale.

There is a stage in front of you as you walk in with seats and standing areas around it. Lots of spinning lights and disco like display on the stage. The bar is on the back right side and was very crowded and difficult to get to. The crowd was a mixture of younger college frat type party crowd running in groups with professional guys finishing up work and getting a drink or two. Also some business guys entertaining clients.

It was hard to track down a girl to get dances as they were outnumbered at least 3 or 4:1 by customers. Lots of guys getting "private" dances with a steady stream heading back to the VIP. The gals do not waste much time and move on quickly if you are buying them drinks or dances. I finally tracked down a lighter skinned brunette and back we went to the VIP. It was $50 or $60 for three dances. I'm not sure you can get less than 3 dances. The VIP is not private. Its basically a large room with some couches/chairs and a bouncer dude walking and in some cases standing beside you as you get dances. There is not touching below the waist and this is strictly enforced. I dropped my hand down to give it a rest barely touching her leg and the bouncer dude was right on me with a warning . Kind of pissed me off and I did not enjoy the last song and just wanted out. This is all done in a room with a bunch of other guys sitting right beside you.
