meh.

4-Play, previously known as Playmates, is a small club in the end of a shopping center at the corner of Copans & 5th. It's pretty easy to find, as they've now updated the sign out front and the signage on the club itself. No charge to park or enter at around 7:30 on Thursday evening, I didn't ask but I got the impression there never was a cover or charge to park. Inside, the club is pretty small. There's a bar that takes up about half the space, with a small (5' x 5' ish at most) dance floor that shares one side with the bar. There's a single pole & support pillar coming up in the middle of the stage. There's seating around the bar, and maybe 3 or 4 tables with armed chairs. The tables are overcroweded so only about 2 of them are usable. There's two small sets of dance areas. The set with a half wall that comes up around shoulder height when seated is used for standard $25 lap dances and occasional 2-4-1's. The other set has a full wall & a small curtained opening, these are used for private/champagne rooms. Prices as I gather were $50 + what the girl wants, but I couldn't determine if it was for 15 or 30 minutes. Bathroom was as is typical of clubs of this caliber, on the dirty side, but without an attendant. The bar service was shitty, I sat for 10 minutes trying to get a drink & after she finally brought it she left me there another 10 waiting to pay & get change. I gave up waiting to pay & left $5 on the bar & went to a table.

As far as the girls go, they were very average. I saw at least 3 girls here that I've seen at porthole pub previously. Some had nice parts, there was a nice ass, nice legs, nice tits, pretty face, etc. The problem was no girl had more than one nice part & the other areas were problematic. The one with a nice ass had saggy tits, the one with nice legs had no tits, etc. The best looking girl is one I that left skidmarks on my pants dancing for me at Porthole - so she was off the list of potentials immediately. The next best looking one was sitting with someone the whole time I was there. The girls did 3 song sets on stage, the first two with their tops on and most took off their tops for at least part of the second song. I'd have expected even topless only clubs to get that way on the second song, but thats not how they do it here. I ended up leaving without getting any dances or a second beer.

I stopped in because I was curious, having done a lot of clubbing in the area but never having been there. Overall, I'd say this is a shittier version of Porthole Pub up the street. The girls are comparable, but the pricing and privacy are much better at PHP. Don't read that as an endorsement for PHP or a condemnation of 4Play, just a comment that PHP a better example of this type of club and if you're only going to hit one, that's the way to go. Chetaah & Diamond Dolls both over overall better experience for my tastes though.
