Saturday night visit - 8/1

Been going to Sirens (or previous names) on and off for years. Had some free time so I headed on over. The club has changed a little over the years but not much. Walk in the door and pay cover, $10 for regular cover, $15 for VIP which includes 2 drink tickets. There are some restrictions but depending on what you drink VIP could pay for itself with the drink tickets - I drink Glenlivet (scotch double neat) which would cost the $15 dollar anyway so it becomes a wash... (hey bartender - do you read this? if so, let me know next time you see me)

Anyway, the main section, which you turn right from the entrance area, has a large stage you see as soon as you enter the door. off to the right are the private dance areas and the circular stairway up to VIP dance area. To the left is the bar and behind the stage is the exit to the smoking patio.

The VIP area, you paid the $15 instead of the $10 right?, is to the left of the entrance. Unfortunately it is only open end of week/weekend. VIP is a nicer man cave with the nice wood bar, wood paneled walls and a small stage that they keep a dancer on while the area is open. The real highlight is the smokin' hot bad-ass nice blond bartender. When you see her you will scratch your head wondering why she is not on stage but you will ultimately appreciate that she is not, she is just that cool. Over the years I have spent a lot of time in a lot of clubs (many more than I have reviewed here) and she is one of only a few that I would like to become friends with and hang out with outside the club (the last one being a bartender at the Clarmont Lounge in Atlanta - if you know the club and the bartender then you will understand and correlate the coolness factor here).
