Strip club converted from a theatre.

I started off my night to Red Diamond (very sexy black club in South Chicago). I had time to waste so I decided to come try out Admiral Theatre (north chicago). This club is unique. It (so I hear at least) is a theatre that has been converted to a strip club. Parking (on the weekend) was free on the main road. Because of the time I was able to get a parking spot right by the entrance. Cover was 25 dollars with a one (soda) drink minimum, I don't think the place allows alcohol but I could be wrong.

The main focus is around the theatre stage. there is an addon that lets the dancers come out further from the stage (sort of like a small catwalk) with chairs surrounding it. I came around 5 am, with only an hour til close. The place was busy, but it was easy to get a spot close to the stage. After a few minutes, I could have gotten a spot actually at the stage, but I left it open for those wanting to tip close up. There were different prices for dances, I don't remember all of the options. I think table dances were 10 dollars (potential to be nude). I think dances by VIP were 20 (not totally sure). I got 3 dances for 75 (private room with curtain).

I am not used to a strip club playing pop music, kind of a new experience. The place kind of had an old time feel, kind of like a movie where you would see sailors in a bar. One dancer, even came out wearing a fancy sparkling dress, dancing to an older song. Everyone around the stage were having a great time, the focus was entirely on the dancers. The club seemed mostly white with a mix. The girls were very pretty, but I prefer curves. Some were borderline anorexic. I noticed the table dances were mostly air, so I wouldn't try them out. The private dances were more air than contact but with good views. High mileage seems possible, but I didn't ask. Overall, a decent place as far as tipping and enjoying the show. If I am back in Chicago, I likely will try out a different club. However, if you are looking for a club in a safe area, this is the place to go.
