Broke down palace

I stopped by palace after striking out at another spot that evening. Perhaps I should have stayed put. For a Friday it was pretty dead. There were 3 other people there. Of the 7 dancers that evening, 2 were at the table with the other three guys, 4 were at the bar, and 1 was talking to who I think was the manager. I was there 20 minutes before any dancer went on stage. It took forever to get my drink. The only thing that redeemed the club was when one of the dancers at the table finally went to the stage, a Hispanic female, her name started with h, she caught my eye. I walked up and tipped her. After her set she went and had a glass of water then came to sit with me. She told me how she was bored with the other table and all they were trying to do was get her to have sex with them. We talked for about 30 minutes then we went to the dance area. It's not very private, there are a half dozen or so armchairs lined up, but we sat and talked for a bit. Eventually she danced for me. We talked for a bit longer flirting. Her English wasn't very good so we switched to Spanish, and she was surprised I was able to speak it, I guess she hasn't had many conversations in the club with black guys in Spanish. But we talked and flirted for another 30-45 minutes. We had a couple more dances afterward. Shortly after we started though someone behind us started smoking marijuana. We talked about marijuana for a bit then she had to go get ready to leave. As I got up, she asked me how to say hug in English, then gave me her number, and said I should call next time I'm in town. In total we did 4 songs. This one dancer was the only thing that kept the club from getting a 1-2 as a rating.
