Not for me
I decided to check out Headquarters mostly because there happened to be a comedy show hosted by former pornstar Alia Janine featuring a couple good comics like Big Jay Oakerson. Granted, special events can through off the vibe but I was there early and stayed a bit after the show to scope things out and left with the conclusion that one visit was enough. The setup is odd. There's a bar a couple steps up at the back of the club (near the entrance), a bunch of lounge chairs and small tables in the main area, a smallish stage (up a few stairs and against the wall across from the bar) adjacent to a private booth, and a LD area along the right hand side of the room elevated from the main area but only separated by a banister. The result is that the girls feel very far away during their sets. I say sets instead of dances because there wasn't much more than a bit of rhythmic swaying. Beyond that the dancers didn't circulate at all, even though there were almost as many dancers as patrons and most of the patrons were left solo. Packed up and left with my wallet only a lighter from the overpriced beers. No point in going back there. Ended up walking over to Flashdancers. It may be touristy but it's lively and, even when the places is crowded, you're guaranteed to be approached by multiple dancers.
