Friday afternoon/evening visit

Visited PH in Detroit on a Friday afternoon. I had not been to the club in quite some time (maybe about a year or so). My interest was tweaked when I kept hearing rumors that the curtains in the VIP area were now down and the VIP's closed. So I went to check it out and report back.

I'm happy to report that those rumors at NOT true. Things at PH were exactly the same as they have been since my last visit a year ago. $7 valet. $20 if you want to sit at a booth (I chose to sit at the bar, no cost) beers were $8.75 domestic (bucket of 5 is $36). Upstairs is the smoking area. And best of all, VIP is unchanged. Private areas with curtains still up.

On this afternoon there were probably 25 or so dancers. There were a couple blonds I was interested in. But they hung with regulars. A really, really cute brunette, but alas, hung with regulars. Over all, this club does a pretty good job with daytime afternoon shifts if you want to get out of work early and have some fun. I had visited Legends in downtown Detroit before coming to PH and the daytime shift at PH is night and day so to say. Penthouse is definitely the more happening place to be for mongers. But it is expensive to visit.
