This review probably won't merit much as I am going off of what this club used to be like. I worked as a dancer at this club on two separate occasions (1996, 2005). From the reviews I have read I think it would be fair to say that the "Unisexx Club has not been delivering what they advertise and this is live love acts. " Just for simplicity and clarity for everyone I want it to be known that the club is not a live sex show establishment. It never was and never will be as this is very illegal in the United States. What the place did offer back in the day were seduction striptease dance numbers performed between a male and a female dancer. The acts were an erotic pas de deux between the dancers. As with many forms of dance a lot of the movement had a lot of sexually suggestive positioning between the dancers. These acts are still rather common in some places in Europe and for awhile they could be found in the U.S but for reasons I won't really get into, they died out . I would typically perform these "love dances" with up to 3 different female dancers per evening and I would like to think that we really sold intimacy up there. Occasionally we would even get costumes to fit a theme we wanted to impart. Some of the female dancers were extremely beautiful and danced primarily at the higher end clubs and they would come to the Unisexx later on specifically to perform the love dances as they loved doing them. We had a lot of older tourist couples that were curious about the place and they were our primary target audience. Also, lots of females by themselves or in groups would come in there to see the love acts (we called them love dances) as girls love intimacy between male and female. At least they did back in the 90s. Place in those days was relatively clean and patrons very well behaved. The majority of the dancers there used to be average to above average good looking. As with any mid to lower end establishment we had a few porkers. Service was also excellent however the drink prices have always been bad. You didn't see many female on female lesbian acts that are so prevalent today. At least I never did when I worked there. Private love dances were outrageously expensive and on top of that the couple would be required to purchase bottle of cheap champagne. I was never in agreement with this. That was the first time though. The second time I worked there things had went vastly downhill. Place was remodeled with red velvet bed installed in back of the stage and entire bar area was scaled down considerably. New owner/manager was/is an asshole. Not a friendly guy at all to patrons or dancers. One of the girls working there recognized me and she and I began performing duets the next night. I was only male dancer there the second time. Lots of lesbian acts and lesbian dancers. This was extremely apparent. Many patrons would walk in and want to see me and a girl perform and then they would get the lesbo numbers and walk right out. I got worn out with getting up on stage to try and provide what many clients wanted. Then about 10 or so at night tons of young punks would pile in the place and they wanted lesbian acts. They were rude as hell and completely smashed out of their heads(big surprise?). So inculcated are they to this (stripper lesbianism) that they actually consider a guy and a girl performing together to be gay. Not sure how or why this mindset is taking over strip club establishments? Also, sign advertised sex acts between men and women so why would they go in there in first place? I could write a book about my experiences here and at other places. Suffice is to say "that the erotic entertainment business has long since left me in its mirrors". The only love act that I ever saw on a video from that place was some dude laying on the front stage with a towel over his privates and a girl doing whatever. This was NOT what we sold back in the day.
