Well, I had my heart set...

Well, I had my heart set on visiting the Fazendinha night club but after reviewing other reports on this & other sites it looked like it was going to be very pricey (>$400US). And, to make matters worse, I was in Campinas with my client who is certainly not into this sort of thing. I certainly didn't want to get caught bringing a local whore back to my room (his room was directly across the hall from mine).

So I figure I'll try the Itatinga area and hope they have more than take-out available on a Sunday night.

A $R25 cab ride later & I arrive about 11:30. My cabbie runs up to the gatekeeper & babbles away in Portugese, so I presume I'll get the gringo rate. Doesn't really matter - I've been working very long days & it looks like this will be my only opportunity.
