I hadn't been to this club for about 5 years. It's good to know that some things never change though, right down to the choice of music for the live sex show; it was enigma 5 years ago and it still is! One thing that has changed is the price. It used to be a really cheap night, not so anymore. The cover charge is 45 Reals for a bar stool or 55 for a table. The price covers the first drink, thereafter a beer sets you back 22 Reals and other drinks go up from there. At the time of writing $1 will get you 1.5 Reals. The setup of the club is more of a brothel than a strip joint. There's a large stage down one side of the room where they stage shows every 30 minutes. The shows are full sex shows either straight or lesbian with the occasional Salsa show (don't ask me what that's doing there, just endure it). In between shows a bunch of girls wearing bikinis sort of shuffle about looking bored. The club is absolutely packed with girls though, even on a quiet night it will appear busy because of the sheer quantity of women. Basically they're working the floor. They'll let you touch them pretty much anywhere while they chat with you hoping you'll take them upstairs to the little booths where you can do the deed. You'll need to be pretty good at portugese though as not many girls speak English. If you want to get laid by a hooker then you could do a lot worse than this place;there's both quality and quantity for all tastes. If you're after seeing naked women dancing there aren't enough here to justify the $15 beer charge, although the live sex shows are entertaining. Your call.
