Well, the air conditioning was nice. Otherwise, this was a complete waste of time.i was in D,C. For the holiday weekend-plus. Had read the warnings on D.C.'s lame strip club rules and still thought maybe there was something to be salvaged thru a visit to Archie's. Monday night is probably not a completely fair test, but this place was a wash-out on my visit. Everything was okay, but nothing was great...discounting the fact that you absolutely can not touch the dancers is any way at this place. That was the second thing the doorman told me as I was entering. It was completely PlLish how guys would step up to one of the two tiny stages to have a little shaking done in front of them. The procession to the stage was almost like folks going to communion at church. And the way the girls make money here is to ask for tips from everyone in the room after their stage set is done. Girls themselves were, too, just okay. Not bad, but nothing coming close to model quality. But a lot of them think they are the shit. Seemed to be a strong locals/regulars vibe going on in the place. I had two drinks, did the minimum amount of tipping expected and got the heck out there. Trust me, don't waste your time, energy and miney on this place. You'll be much more satisfied cruising for porn in your hotel room.
