Red's Angels is now just called...

Red's Angels is now just called "ANGELS" and it is a local place. And boy is it hit or miss. I have never been to the club in the evening (I often pass through the area in the afternoon for work), so maybe it is more lively then. On a good afternoon, there are 4 - 6 dancers, about half of them in the 6-8 range, the others in the 4-5 range. Everyone here is very friendly, and it is definitely a low-pressure environment, so that is nice. Most of the afternoon patrons are regulars, and older gentlemen unless it is raining, then it can be full of out-of-town oil and gas men, and worth missing on those days.

Lap dances are $20 a piece or 3 for $50, and they are usually pretty good and of a reasonable length. One thing that is kind of odd about WV clubs is that many of them don't have a DJ, so the dancers are always coming over to ask for a dollar for the jukebox. The downside of this is that you are always being hustled for a dollar, but the upside is that the dancers choose their own music (and are usually pretty enthusiastic about dancing to it) and there is nobody cutting the songs off after 3 minutes. I have been in the club when it was fairly empty and had a lapdance with a dancer who likes me, and my $50 (plus tip) got me three 5+ minute songs! Now that's what I call a bargain.

The place is not very fancy, but good times can be had here for not much money.
