Having been to Bogies and HVIII...

Having been to Bogies and HVIII in Inkster,MI and Honey's in Gary, I wanted to see just how rough this place is. Well . . .

As described, this is a difficult-to-locate, dump of a place with a pothole-racked, gravel parking lot. Having said that, I did not feel unsafe, per se, even though I "clearly" don't "belong" in Gary, IN (granted it was daylight and raining). F you, smokeybear. Anyway, I enter and see 3 females, 2 AA, 1 white and 3 black dudes (custies? b/f? pimps? -- I am thinking pimps). The older white guys collects my $4 cover and asks if I am looking for a private dance. Got the impression nothing happening in the "theater" closet, later confirmed.

I choose the white dancer, tell her I'll take 3 for $53 (look at me acting like I been here before -- thanks TUSCL!). She takes me to the back, up 4 steps to a rickety area with walls that don't reach the ceiling, 2 chairs, a table and a pole. The chairs were brown vinyl, circa 1970. I say brown chairs, but the seats were essentially black, like chairs from a coal miners office or a gas station garage lunchroom. Ugh. I am not sure if I can go through with this! J/K, I'm a PL along for the ride.
