So I get the impression that Mpire isn't doing particularly well. It seems like in DC there's always one new club limping along and unfortunately now that's Mpire.

They are not always open in the afternoon (whereas Camelot down the street opens at 11 am on a weekday) AND they have upped the ATM fees to 20%, which is crazy. The plus side is they have become much more generous about their dress code; they used to turn you away if you didn't have the "right" shoes on but there were guys in shorts and flip flops there. (They might still be sticklers at night though, I need to go back.)

I root for this club, the wait staff is sooo much better than at Camelot's, but I am not optimistic for its success.
