Until recently, this was one of my favorite clubs in Jacksonville. It was a place where you could drink for reasonable money, get to know a bunch of friendly girls and, if the stars aligned, even find decent OTC options. But a lot has changed in the last several months.

For starters, the talent, which had been improving for a while, is starting to downtrend a bit again. The place has always been mixed race and continues to be, but even the white girls are starting to get a bit thick. Also, the more recent hires have leaned towards the more uptight variety. Seriously, some of these girls might as well wear a robe on the stage for all the skin that they show. Also, a lot of the better OTC options have left the club, so now we are left with a dive club with marginal talent and little opportunity.

But ok, at least you won't break the bank if you hang out, drink and tip, even if things don't go the way you want, right? Wrong, at least if you drink anything else other than beer. They just instituted a new measured shot policy. The Jack on the rocks on ice that I have always ordered there, which used to cost $6.50, now runs $13. $13 for a drink that can fit in a damned shot glass. I don't mind paying strip club prices for my booze, but drinking liquor in this dive is now measurably more expensive than drinking in Wackos or Scores. And for you daytime types, they don't have a happy hour, unlike the other two local bikini joints. I'm not sure what the owner of this place is thinking, but there it is.
