I was there 9pm-2am on a summer Tuesday. Risque has 3 clubs on route 95, which follows the Delaware River. There is the one on front street around exit 20, the one in Northeast Philadelphia near exit 30 and Bristol which is a town even bit north and east of Philadelphia near exit 40. People call all of these “Risque” and the Bristol one’s personality is essentially nothing like the other two so make sure you know which one people are talking about. This is near the 276 (PA turnpike) on route 413 at the intersection of Ford Road. The first two have an urban feel, Bristol is definitely suburban. Parking is easy and safe.
There is no cover except Fri and Sat after 7pm. They scan for weapons on entrance with a metal detector which is sensitive, I failed from my belt buckle. Don't know if human dj but reasonable tasteful dance music with little variety. I heard nothing obnoxious musically the whole night.
The layout of the club is in pieces below. There main floor of the club is taken up by a large rectangular bar. Inside the bar are two dances stages with an 7 ft pole. There is a staircase between the two stages that the dancers descend from to get on stage. Other reviewers seem to really like this staircase thing, it didn’t do anything for me. There is a small opening in the bar at one end near the employee section of the club at 12:00 position. At the 5:00-7:00 there are 7 2-3 person tables against that one wall. On the 8:00-11:00 position there are 3 pool tables with the lapdance room behind that. They normally have food, but Mon and Tuesday the kitchen is closed.
