I love Detroit clubs, but I...

I love Detroit clubs, but I haven't gone to Penthouse nearly as much as the others such as Flight Club, BTs, Players and Coliseum. I don't have anything against Penthouse, it's just out there by itself. I usually am in Dearborn/Inkster or on the other side of 8Mile at Coli or Players. After striking out at Players and Coli I thought I would give Penthouse a shot, and arrived around 11PM on a Friday night.

Crowded as usual, classy as usual I grabbed a drink at the main bar and took my normal position at the rail, by the cigar display on the 2nd level. All the booths and tables were full around the stage and although there were a few seats at the bar downstairs I don't like to sit there because I feel cramped. This is usual at the Penthouse on a weekend night, that's why I'm used to having to stand upstairs instead of grabbing a table by the stage.

Usually it doesn't take me long to find an attractive girl to get some dances with, and that girl is usually a little older, late 20's or early 30's which I like, and usually is in large supply at Penthouse. Tonight, no luck, it was the worst quality line-up I have ever seen at Penthouse, I didn't see one girl I would rate an 8. Maybe all those girls were in VIP... who knows, but I decided to take a stab at another club and bailed out after about 1 hour. I usually get approached here a lot, but on this night only one African American dancer approached me, she was very attractive with a great body, but not what I was looking for. Who knows, I thought the dancers were ugly tonight, and maybe they thought I was too.
