I have mixed feelings about this...

I have mixed feelings about this place. First let's talk about the location: it's a quiet safe area of the strip district, named because it runs along the river, not for any other reason. It's pretty conveniently located, not far from downtown and relatively easily accessible from most areas of the city. Low traffic area, never congested. The valet parking, and you really have no other option, will cost you $5. The valet guys seem trustworthy and are polite. It's worth the fee. Cover on a weekday is also $5, which is reasonable. You'll be greeting by a bouncer who does a pretty polite pat down and you'll also walk through a metal detector. There's a chick at the entrance to greet you which is a nice touch. Everyone comments on the strange layout - yes the bar is between you and the stage but that's not a big deal, I think. The girls are also fairly attractive, with about three 8's and the rest ranging from 3 - 7. It feels pretty comfortable inside and the staff are friendly enough. The nice thing is that the girls do mingle around the bar, although for some reason you might spend up to an hour waiting for someone to approach you even if it's not particularly busy, This seems bizarre to me, and was a definite turn off. Plus, most of the more attractive dancers will spend all of their time at the private tables, which is also off-putting. Next, the girls will likely try to talk you straight into a dance, or a room. Dances are $25 which is fairly steep, but the layout is pretty good, with semi-privacy as none of the couches really face each other. Interestingly, there is also a police officer, yes a real cop, seated just outside the dance area. Take that for what you will. Rooms are also quite expensive, running $125 for 15 min. I haven't seen one so can't comment. Overall, it's not bad, the girls tend to be good looking but man you feel ripped off after just a short time there... I'd say check it out, if you like the chill atmosphere, then you'll appreciate it. If the high costs and many costs bother you, you won't enjoy it. That's why I'm on the fence about this place....
