St James is really conveniently located...

St James is really conveniently located close to IAH so is great for those of us who fly in there on business. The club itself is pretty impressive - a good 30,000 sq ft or so I'd guess with a great central main stage and a few smaller side stages downstairs. There's an upstairs too but I didn't venture there this time. The set up has 2 bars (although only one was open when I went yesterday afternoon. I get the feeling the club is pretty busy at night - but the afternoon shift consisted of about 10 girls and about 20 guys. While the club itself is really spacious and well decorated it is looking a bit tired when you look closely though. Beers are decent value and the music is a total mix but mosly in the easy rnb/melodic hip-hop zone.

Anyway, to the details of my visit yesterday. Had a couple of beers at the rail and enjoyed a handful of stage dances. A few tips here and there and some nice smiles. A blonde American girl caught my eye. Mid twenties, Really cute and a rockin body. So I tipped her well ($10) on stage and she came over to see me after her 3 stage set (yes like 15 minutes all in). Another drink and I was persuaded (quite easily!) to go for a couple of laps. They have nice private back rooms for lapdances which I love so you're not being watched by other guys. Unfortunately they're a little bland and the chair is a little uncomfortable to be honest! Anyway, her dancing was great. Plenty of eye contact, ear nibbling and I she encouraged my hands towards her ass - and it felt great. One dance became four in very short succession. So $80 and I tipped her $10 which she seemed to appreciate. I'd like to have taken her up on the offer of the VIP but my wallet was a little light this time.

Will definitely return next time I'm in town.
