First the bad news... They scanned my ID. I've never allowed this to happen before, but I allowed it. Read on to find out why. (Scanning is a sure sign that they got in trouble with the OLCC.)

It was mid-afternoon on a weekday. I couldn't believe that there were 8 dancers on the board. About 12-16 customers. Quite busy. Now for the strange part. I stayed about an hour and in that time, I never saw anyone go into the back for a private dance. I wasn't even approached until quite late in my stay. Most of the dancers were not "working" the room, just staying to themselves or hanging out with the same customer. The one that approached me was gorgeous, both face and body. Well above average for this club. She chatted and wasn't pushy at all. I brought up the PD situation and her description was above average for Portland but pretty tame for this club, which tends to be at the high end of the scale for naughtiness. Also somewhat unusual was the higher attractiveness of the dancers. Only one black dancer out of the eight. Another was Hispanic. The dancers still skew a older than most clubs, but this group was definitely better than in the past.

None of my regular dancer friends were there that day but if/when I run into one of them, I'll ask if things are still basically the same or there's been some soft of change.
