Visions may lose its place on...

Visions may lose its place on my "must stop" list. Changes in the recent past have NOT improved this club. A couple of years ago the club changed the $20 dance area to air dance only. Last year the club started having bouncers walk the isle in the $30 "VIP" area. Now NOLA has banned smoking in clubs (I don't mind non-smoking clubs, but this ban seems to have significantly reduced the number of customers in Visions).

I walked in about 4pm on a sometines rainy Wednesday afternoon to find only three dancers around the bar and no one on stage. Of the 7 customers, four were Mexicans nursing $4 beers, two were hanging around the pool tables apparently trying to avoid tipping at the bar and two were just PLs like me. I eventually discovered that there were 8 or 9 dancers there, but they were seldom more than 3 in sight.

As soon as I sat at the bar a very lean, shapely, tight, dark skinned dancer slipped up against me, but waited until I ordered to speak to me. With an "Islands" accent and very soft straight medium brown hair, she was anything but ordinary. After slipping onto my lap she turned into a skillful conversationalist. Unfortunately, she was less skillful at exciting lap dances.
