So I stopped by Cheetahs after a work-related function. This has generally been one of my go-to clubs, and I've written about the general layout of this place before so this is more of an update about some stuff that's happened to the club recently. It seems like management has really clamped down on any activity that could even possibly get them in trouble, and the girls have responded in kind. The single dances that run $20 are completely air and the dancers have been told not to let guys fool around in the VIP either. There are obviously a few girls that are more frisky than others but the overall mileage probably tops out with some light groping at most. Bouncers walk through the VIP pretty frequently as well so it's not easy to get away with anything either.

I've run into a few former dancers at other clubs who mentioned the club rules becoming much stricter in the last few months, and they've left the club because they were worried about getting in trouble for violating the new rules. As such, it seems like there's been a higher turnover of girls than before as I didn't recognize probably 80% of the lineup on the night I went. Lastly, the other weird thing that's happened recently is that they've stopped posting the dancer lineup on their website, which they've always done since I started going 5 years ago. Maybe they've had issues with PL stalkers or are taking more precautions so it doesn't look like they're advertising specific dancers (with services and availability) in the eyes of LE.

Anyway, Cheetahs will always get its share of customers for the simple fact that it draws the largest number of dancers who are all young, fit, and attractive. However, the value has plummeted in the last 6 months, probably due to issues with San Diego LE and city hall. Anyway, if you plan on going, just know that it's pretty much a strictly eye-candy club at this point so you have to decide whether it's worth the money or not.
