It has been a while since...

It has been a while since I have made it to the Body shop (formerly Secrets) so decided it might be a good time to stop by = thursday night going into the Memorial Day weekend. It was just before 8PM when I arrived - no cover and no parking fee - this trip was starting out great. I headed to the bar to get a beer. Bunches of girls were leaving and even more were coming in. The club had a good number of custies for 8PM. As I was waiting for service - I was checking out the landscape - I was really surprised - the quality of girls had really declined in this club. I know Papi likes the thick girls and I do share his passion for them on occasion - I just did not see any attractive girls like I am used to in the Miami clubs. Yes tons of enhanced buts but sort of tired looking girls. I remember when this club typically had at least six top tier girls on any given shift. I just didn't see that. Meanwhile, I am still waiting for a beer. This is the second time in a row I have come in at shift change and the bartender is doing inventory while leaving customers waiting and I mean waiting. I had to literally walk over to the bartender and touch her arm to get her attention. Such poor service. Yes I know we are supposed to lower our standards in strip clubs when it comes to service but really 15 minutes to get waited on when it is not even busy at the bar. After getting my beer I tried to chill back and get in the mood - just wasn't happening. The DJ was loud and annoying - it was very dark in the club to begin with - then they hit the smoke machine that even the dancers hate - hard to even see the dancers on stage, no one tipping and I only saw one girl dancing and rancid weed smell through the entire club. Wow I am ranting - sorry guys - this visit just sucked. I left after a few more minutes and headed to Broward. Depressing - even when this club was a complete hole before their cheesy remodel - I used to like it. Just not for me these days..
