Executive Summary: This is sometimes a great club, probably the best in Portland for what it attempts to do. However, you have to time your visit properly and should limit your expectations to burlesque entertainment. If you come on the wrong day of the week, too early in the evening, or are expecting to get your pee pee rubbed by Toniqua Thickmethteeth... you're better off going elsewhere. If your date wants to go to a strip club, I'd suggest taking her/him here.
The part of the club that's a strip club is a partial conversion of the old Berbatti's Pan venue, with the same stages made from old bowling alley planks and Marshall speakers. There's usually not a cover unless a band is playing, or its drunk time in the local entertainment zone. The entertainment in the early evenings is uniformly terrible, but it gets much better after nine. If you like elaborate stage shows, you're guaranteed to see them on Friday nights, maybe Saturday nights. At those times, the dancers are almost always fun to look at and very interactive at the rack, which makes the next part kind of stand out- if you tip at the stage, you may get asked for a "private dance". A private dance involves you sitting on a church pew behind a curtain with your hands firmly glued to your ass. That's it, thanks for donating to my tattoo fund.
