I had not been to Tootsie's...

I had not been to Tootsie's since the OLD Tootsie's. Had read about the new place for quite a while but never been in South Florida with the opportunity to check out the new place. Went on a couple of afternoon's recently. The place is very large, and a cool layout--sort of has different "zones", so to speak. However, on the two afternoons in question, this was sort of irrelevant, since there were so few (maybe 10) girls there and only a dozen or so customers. In this regard, Tootsie's is a far cry from some of the other elite clubs around the country (think Baby Dolls in Dallas, for example, where, even in the afternoon, there will be twice as many dancers present).

On both visits, I grabbed a drink at the bar and then eventually made my way to the standing tables in front of the stage. I was not enamored with any of the talent on the first day. On my second visit, I was eventually approached by a 30ish Columbian with a nice front court. After talking for a while, we went to the back. Three dances--$25 a piece--and she got more into it with each dance. Pretty good deal--gave her $80 for three dances, which is below market in many other places.

I would love to visit this place at night, when I am sure it is packed and loaded with just amazing talent, but I just don't see when I would have that opportunity, so I just have to be left wondering for now...
