I made an unplanned stop at The Foxy Lady tonight and frankly wasn't thrilled with the entertainment. I arrived shortly after 6:00 when the night shift is just beginning and the dancers were slow getting on stage. I've heard several complain that they need to get their hair and makeup perfect before going on stage and the DJ knows they're not ready, yet still calls them out. I suggested getting to work early and simply got strange looks. I sat at the stage and tipped the dancers a couple of bucks and had gone through $36 before a waitress asked what I'd like to drink. I got a coke ($4.50) and gave the waitress a $10. And told her no change. She remembered me later in the night.

The 3 rub girls working were pushing their services with gusto and I finally had Jackie(?) work me over for 2 songs. Strong fingers and a nice touch as well as a pleasing look made it a bargain at $10. per song + tip.

Now the dancers: there were several familiar faces and a few new ones and a dispassionate viewer would probably rank them from 6 to 9.5, but they seemed detached from what was going on. Bianca shakes her tale feathers like no other, Kate-Lynn is always a joy to behold, and Victoria could get a cadaver aroused. But for the most part lap dances were one way contact and the prospect of much of anything else in the Champagne Room seemed remote. It's possible, my disillusionment this evening was of my making in that I was supposed to be in an OTC tryst which got cancelled at the last minute due to an untimely death of a friend of the dancer.

I always prefer to club by myself, but tonight a stranger got my ear and sat next to me talking, talking, and talking.

I left about 9:00 pm and still had money in my pocket which is quite unusual.
