File this SC trip under the one of the regrettable ones. Had an opportunity to go to Outer Space on Sunday afternoon, but I decided to wait and give the purp a shot. Hadn't been since the night it was shot up by an ak47-welding patron back in 2012. This however was a daytime trip (4:30pm) so I wasn't worried about any safety issues. Heard from a friend that mid afternoons were a good time to go. I think he has this club confused with another club (possibly nearby vanity grand), because this place was DEAD. 4 dancers on shift, all AA, three of whom were overweight. Don't get me wrong, I love thick girls, but there is a very thin line between thick and fat, and these 3 ladies were about 50lbs over that line. Sheesh! The one dancer who wasn't morbidly obese was busy with another patron (there were only 2 others in the club besides myself), and I didn't even have the opportunity to approach her. The other dancers were really pushy with me. I wouldn't budge on any dances, because I'm not going to spend $20 per dance and not have an enjoyable experience. In fact, I even tipped one of the dancers $2 just to leave me alone. The other unoccupied patron fell victim to her BS and ended up getting two dances or so from her. It looked like he was ready to cry about halfway thru the 1st song, LOL. Upon seeing this i decided it was time to head home, wasn't even in the club for 20 minutes, smh.

Bottom line, it seems the afternoon shift at the Purple Orchid is the worst time to get some action, unless you're into BBBBBBW (that was done deliberately). If that's your twist, then by all means, go have a ball and a good time. For the rest of us, make Fri/Sat night is probably the best time to go..
