I was in San Diego for a conference. I decided to be a slave to my impulses, and cross the border into Zona Norte. While I lived in Mexico for a number of years, I never visited a northern Border town. As a young adult, my mantra while living in Mexico was "blend in and don't be a dick." Honestly, I felt safer in Tijuana than I did on a recent trip to New Orleans.

Club Hong Kong is the greatest strip club on the planet. Within minutes of walking in, I was approached by a number of dancers offering their services at the hotel next door.
