Visited Tootsies on a Thursday evening. Thanks to traffic (who knew?) didn’t get there until 11:30 pm. Club didn’t seem that busy to me but I think the size of the club made it seem less busy, especially with lighting being quite bright. First time in Miami doing the SC thing so went to the club with the 1,000+ reviews on this site.

Tootsies reminded me of Sapphire in Vegas. It looks like the club took over a warehouse shopping location or an old gym and converted it to a club. I’m not complaining. I like the higher ceilings, which help diffuse the cigarette smoke. I don’t mind smokers just don’t like my business luggage to reek of tobacco. Also, the general decor seemed almost circus-ish. Not a bad thing. Lots of neon and funky decorations and “themed” seating areas.
