After finally moving to the Fort Myers area (good riddance to Chiraq!), I checked out Babes for the first time. Nice bar, the bartender was great, the dancers did some great performances. I was approached by a few dancers, some of whom asked me if I was interested in a lap dance, which I told them no, as in Lee County, Florida (County law, not Fort Myers municipal law), only air dances are legal. No touching allowed at all under Lee County law, neither giving nor receiving; in fact, it has even been mentioned on a city-data forum that touching the dancers at any Lee County strip club during lap dances is in fact grounds for 20 years in prison for sexual assault plus a requirement to register as a sex offender for both dancer and customer! So in other words, if you get caught touching at Babes, or Lookers, Scarlett's Cabaret, or Fantasy's at the Beach, oftentimes, getting ejected from the club without a refund would be the least of your worries.

So like all other Lee County strip clubs, Babes is made only for show. If you like to get all handsy with the dancers, sorry, but the closest strip clubs to Babes that I know of that allow two-way touching are Teasers and Red Garter Saloon, located in Key West.
