This was the first time I visited since the grand opening, which is never a true gauge of how good a club is, so I thought I would give it another try. I went late on a Saturday since this place has a rep as an after hours club that really doesn't start hopping until late. It is open until 5 Thursday to Saturday although they stop serving alcohol at 2. I had a coupon for free entry but the standard entry fee is about $10 I think.

There was a porn star featured that night, and this is a regular occurrence at Vivid. Her name was Ash Hollywood and she was only moderately attractive. She got up and did a big production on stage but the crowd was not that into her. She kept on asking for volunteers to get up on stage and get a dance from her while lying on the floor. The fee was $20 but nobody was willing to accept the challenge. Afterwards, she was offering autographs and lap dances but there were not a lot of takers. There were quite a few couples in attendance though.

For the most part, the clientele is very young and ethnic. They offered hookah service and there were quite a few Middle Eastern types in the audience smoking. The crowd was also pretty rowdy. The music was very loud and there was a lot of hip hop. The dancers were also a mixed bunch, with about a third white, a third Hispanic, and a third other. The girls were below average for the Galleria area, probably 4's to 6's, with a few 7's at best. Girls were pretty friendly and would take you to a lap dance room off to the side. They danced two songs each on 3 stages. This is not one of the clubs that signed an agreement with the city so girls must wear pasties and full bottoms. Many did not remove their bikinis while on stage.
