Club 47 is the new incarnation...
Club 47 is the new incarnation of the strip club formerly known as Wild J’s. The “47” is significant because the club is located in Canute, Oklahoma, which is Exit 47 off of Interstate 40. The club is about ¾ mile south of the exit. Canute is a Route 66 town of about 545 people that has been in decline every since US 66 was replaced by the interstate highways, so it is kind of odd that there would be a strip club in the middle of nowhere. Presumably, a lot of the customers are locals from Elk City and Clinton. Some of the customers also seemed to be oil and gas industry workers working in the area. There are a lot more couples here than you see at most clubs.
I went to Club 47 on a Friday night around 8pm and stayed until around 11pm. The club is in a large barnlike building on the edge of town. Be careful driving in because there is a ditch between the building and the road; only some of it is leveled as a driveway. The cover charge was $10. Domestic beers were $3, while the import beers were $4. There were two waitresses for a place that had at the most a couple dozen people. I was being pestered at least once every three minutes to buy another drink, which became annoying. The waitresses were hustling hard to get their $1 tips off of me. There is one stage with a pole about waist height off of the ground toward the back, surrounded by three long tables. You get a lot of attention tipping the stage. Female patrons would go on stage and get their tops removed. The northwest corner of the club is the bar, and the southwest corner has two pool tables.
You would think a strip club out in the middle of nowhere would have subpar strippers, but this was not the case at Club 47. There were five strippers on duty, and I would have fucked four of them. Cherry Bomb is a buck wild So Cal blonde. Breanna is a hot brunette with tattoos. Karma is the most experienced pole dancer of the bunch. My favorite is the buxom blonde Brandy. There was one other dancer working that was a little thicker; I did not catch her name. The dancers were friendly and sweet, almost the total opposite of strippers you find at the chain clubs in major cities. I talked and drank beers with a few of them. You can get lap dances in a room built into the wall beyond the pool tables. Lap dances cost $35 per song and were done on rather uncomfortable bingo hall chairs. I TOFTT to see what kind of action could be had. The dances are one-way contact. I was not even allowed to hold the dancers’ hips. There is only privacy if no other patrons in the room getting lap dances. You must prepay for the dances at the bar. (I think the club was taking something like $10 of each dance for itself.) The stage show was raunchier and allowed more touching than the lap dances.
