I went to the Penthouse Club...

I went to the Penthouse Club in north Detroit in the fall on a weekday afternoon about 6pm.

I think it was a Friday afternoon so it was somewhat busy with the after work crowd. This was my first time here and I was visiting Detroit.

Valet parking is mandatory, and there was a cover charge. Once inside, I sat down and ordered a drink. There was one center stage, and long stairway down to the club floor, and a couple of small stages along the back wall and the final stage was near the main bar in front. The entertainers come down the stair way and start on the main stage, dance to one song, then make their way around the room to the other stages, after which they get off the stage circuit and mingle with regulars or potential customers or just plain vanish.
