Last Saturday I decided to pay the landing strip a visit. A friend of mine recently told me the talent level was on the rise and that afternoons were more laid back. Both of these statements proved to be true and while there wasnt that much talent (afternoon) the quality was on par with an day shift. A couple 7's to keep my interest. No cover is always a plus during the day. None of the talent seemed motivated as they just sat with a couple regulars until time to go on stage. Drinks were the typical cost. Street Parking saved some vallet funds as well. Overall I would go back as i stuck around for the evening shift and things began to pick up quickly after 7.
