Stopped by this club on a Saturday night with the wife to see what the talent was like. The club is a small place on the East side of the highway just south of Artesia, NM. The club has been recently purchased by a new owner and is now called "The Onyx Club". The new owner is slowly putting money into the place but it is still in need of some major work.

When you walk in there is a $10pp cover. Seemed steep but it is the only strip club for over 100 miles so they can probably charge what they want. I was worried that the place was going to be a dive and I would need to carry my gun. However the place is quite comforting and I was put at ease almost immediately when I walked in. There is only one stage for the dancers. The stage is low to the ground so "pervert row" isn't really the best place to sit. The stage definitely needs raised.

Out of the five girls there that night four of them were seven or better. There aren't any unbelievable girls but they were all nice sized and not any girls that you would pay to put their clothes back on. They have two private rooms, one is a topless VIP room and the other is a totally nude VIP room. The wife and I found a little spinner we liked and took her to the topless VIP room. Dances that are topless only are $20 and nude are $45. We went with topless only. The lap dance room is set up horrible. They have large shoes as seats and there are three shoes all next to each other. You can literally reach out and touch the dude next to you. I like a LOT more privacy myself. Also the lighting in the room is a mirror ball and you can't really see the girl as the light is constantly flashing while the ball turns. NOT SEXUAL/SENSUAL at all (reminded me of a skating rink when I was a kid). The lap dance was on just OK. The girl said she was new and it definitely showed. This particular girl didn't allow you to touch her tits but other girls said it would not be a problem.
