On Saturday, January 31, just after 2:00am (or late Friday night, after closing), gun shots were heard coming from Spanky's East. Nothing went reported, until a local hospital reported a woman coming in for a non life-threatening gunshot wound to the foot. The woman admitted she had been injured in the parking lot of this club. Police investigated and found spent shells in the parking lot. It was determined that an altercation started inside the club and resulted in this. Police report that there has been conflicting information about the events of that night.
